Damon A. R. Kirschbaum

Managing Attorney

Damon Kirschbaum is the owner and managing attorney of the firm. He practices in the areas of elder law and probate law. His practice focuses on contested cases and crisis cases. He handles conservatorship disputes, estate disputes, power of attorney disputes, trust disputes, and other fiduciary disputes. He also handles Medicaid asset protection planning, as well as applications for Medicaid for long-term care.

Damon is responsible for managing all aspects of marketing, sales, operations, finance, and administration for the firm.

Damon practiced law as a solo practitioner from October 1998 to October 2012. In October 2012, he formed Kirschbaum Law Group, LLC. Before law school, Damon worked as a financial consultant at a large international financial services firm in Hartford.

Damon graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1998, where he received a Juris Doctor degree, from Skidmore College in 1992, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in government, and from Suffield Academy in 1988.

Damon lives with his wife, Amy, and their two children in West Hartford.

Damon is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
