Jessica P. Souza

Jessica Souza practices in the areas of criminal defense and habeas corpus law. She is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Connecticut.

Jessica joined the firm in June 2025. Before joining the firm, she gained experience in probate and estate administration, as well as corporate law, while working at a law firm in Massachusetts.

Originally from Brazil, she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo in 2021, where she completed an internship focused on compliance investigations. After relocating to the United States, she obtained her Master of Laws degree in U.S. Legal Studies from the University of Connecticut School of Law. While at UConn Law, she served as a translator for the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic and as president of the Connecticut Alliance of International Lawyers.
