Ashley T. Foreman

Ashley Foreman practices in the areas of criminal defense and habeas corpus law. She serves as a member of the Connecticut Judicial Selection Commission. She also serves as the Vice President of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association.

Ashley joined the firm in August 2024. Before joining the firm, Ashley served as Assistant Counsel and Deputy Communications Director to the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Connecticut, as well as Policy Counsel to the Connecticut General Assembly's House Majority Leader. Ashley began her tenure at the Connecticut General Assembly as Sessional Legal Counsel to the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives. Before her time at the General Assembly, she worked as an attorney in the Office of the Public Defender at Meriden Superior Court.

Ashley graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2021, where she received a Juris Doctor degree, and from Quinnipiac University in 2018, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice, summa cum laude. During law school, Ashley interned with the Quinnipiac University School of Law (QUSL) Civil Justice Clinic, advocating for the end of felony disenfranchisement in Connecticut at the state capitol. She was also a member of the QUSL Mock Trial team, winning the title of Best Overall Advocate at an intramural competition.

Ashley is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Connecticut and the District of Columbia.
